Vector's a Joiner, meaning he's part of a hive mind. The species he's connected to are known as the Killiks and are infamous for Joining people against their will. Vector himself won't be converting anyone, even if asked, but if you'd rather not play with Vector please let me know which journals you own and I will avoid tagging them.
Also squick warning: dude's got bugs. Fingerlings are very very tiny Killiks who live inside of Vector, they typically aren't seen, but they can make appearances as a green 'mist' that he communicates with.
